Wahid Construction Limited is a sister concern of Karim Group, a famous conglomerate companies and one of the leading construction companies of Bangladesh. It started developing its business as M/s Md. Wahid Miah, a proprietorship construction firm in the year 1991 under the umbrella of Karim Group. Later, to complete local and international tender, the licenses, assets, intellectual properties, reputations and liabilities is transferred to newly formed “Wahid Construction Ltd (WCL)" in January 2016 by executing a legal agreement and undertaking. However, its’ primary concentration was in Govt owned infrastructural development works i.e.; road, bridge, culvert and building in Bangladesh. Wahid Construction Ltd has built a strong reputation in the country by delivering quality service, on time project completion and maintaining best possible construction standard since its foundation. WCL has a well-organized organogram and a large fleet of construction plant & equipment with a separate Equipment Division, operated by highly skilled technical personnel under the leadership of a veteran Mechanical Engr. Company has recently contributed in national development work and completed some of the mega prestigious projects like Joydebpur- Mymensingh Road Improvement 4 Lanes to 6 lanes (JMRIP), Improvement of Jatrabari Intersection (Including Equria-Babubazar Link Road) to Pachchar-Bhanga Through Mawa Road of Dhaka-Khulna (N-8) Highway 4 Lane Project ( JMBP) with Separate Lanes for Slow Moving Vehicle, Pkg -4, and Construction of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn & Plastic Surgery at Dhaka, Construction of 62 Nos. New School cum Disaster Shelter Buildings and Associated Connection Roads in Cox's Bazar. Presently WCL is implementing a good number of mega projects of Roads and Buildings. These are; Construction of Tangail-Elenga- Muktagacha-Jamalpur-Kalibari-Sarishabari road, Construction of Joydebpur - Tangail - Jamalpur Road (N-4), Construction of "Sheikh Sayeera Khatun Medical College & Hospital and Nursing Institute" at Gopalganj, Re-excavation, Renovation and Development of Khals for Mitigating Water Logging Problem in Chittagong City, Construction of 73 Nos. New School Cum Disaster Shelter Building & Associated Connection Roads in Chittagong. The average construction turn-over for the last 5 years is BDT 7320.00 Million (USD 86.00 Million). Our experience in mega projects helped us to develop a skilled management and technical team.
